Preceptor A Preceptor is an abhyasi who has been given permission by the Master, to guide other abhyasis in their practice.
Preceptor A Preceptor acts as a channel or conduit for Master’s transmission for the benefit of abhyasis.
Sitting In Sahaj Marg, a session of meditation with a preceptor (or with Master) is called a Sitting. A Sitting usually lasts about 30 minutes. Sittings can either be on an individual basis - an individual sitting Or on a group basis - A group sitting
How does one start the practice of Sahaj Marg ? The practice of Sahaj Marg can be started by any individual by obtaining three (or more) individual sittings from a preceptor.
The Practice involves • Morning meditation • Evening cleaning (mental) • A short prayer at bed time • Individual sittings from a Preceptor • Group sittings once a week
