APEC Strategic Plan • In november 2000, the leader of the member economies approved the “APEC strategic plan”. • It represents a global effort about capacity building, in order to achieve a full participations of the contries from the Asia.Pacific region in the WTO. • This includes supporting and impeling the agreement’s implementation and giving the highest priority to proyects’ financement that answer to those needs.

  3. APEC Strategic Plan Rules Subcommittee and Conformity E valuation • To attend the provisions of the strategic plan • To develop those projects oriented to support mostly the Sanitary and Phitosanitary Mesures and technical Barriers to Trade apliccation agreements implementations from the WTO.

This plan is cordinate by New Zeland. Simposiums • may 21-24, 2002, Lima city, Peru • may 29-31, 2002, Bangkok, Thailand • Publication • It was elaborated a hand with the requests to establishment to the National Authority Information and Enquiry Points. • Published by the APEC secretary on february, 2002.
