  3. Chinese New Year Chinese New Year is a traditional Chinese Festival. We will go to visit our relatives’ houses and eat some special food like dumplings, turnip cakes and rice cakes. I enjoy celebrating Chinese New Year very much!

  6. Chinese New Year food 1 Nian Gao It is made of sugar and flour. It’s sweet. It means that we will be high every year.

  7. Chinese New Year food 2Jin deui (Sesame balls) It is round and brown. It’s sweet. It means that we will earn more money every year.

  8. Chinese New Year food 3Turnip Pudding It is made of with turnip. It is white or orange. It means that we will be lucky every year.

  10. The Survey We interviewed 41 students: Most of them like eating new year cakes.

  11. Feeling We felt very glad and excited after doing the project. We also learn how to do teamwork and find many kinds of Chinese new year food. .

  12. Feeling Terrie: I’m excited when we finished this project. I have learnt a lot of things. Winky: By doing this project, I have learnt how to speak better English. Owen: I am happy to do this project with my classmates. Anson: I want to do more better in the next project. Chloe: By doing this project. I have learnt more about Chinese New Year food and the meaning.
