Character Traits Maggie is tall with blonde hair and is in the seventh grade. Maggie has blue eyes and always wears her hair out. Mr.O is tall, a teacher, and is always dressy. He always wears a tie for work and is skinny. He also has green eyes.
What is the setting? • The setting of this story is Maggie's school, her friend Alycia’s house and her apartment. Alycia’s House Maggie’s School Maggie’s Apt.
Conflict, Type of Conflict, and Resolution • The conflict in this story was huge. The conflict or problem is that the class was doing dissections and Maggie didn’t believe in killing animals so she decided she wasn’t going to do them. The problem was that the dissections were going to be graded and she was getting F’s on her assignments. That meant that she was failing biology. The type of conflict this story has is external. The resolution is Maggie got to do extra work to get her grade up so she could pass biology.
My prediction • I made a prediction when Jake and Maggie were going to steal the frog so they could set it free that Mr. O was going to catch them. My prediction or inference was true because he caught them and they got into a lot of trouble.
