1. Badgers The animal I researched was the badger. Badgers are mammals . They live in the woodlands of New York State.

2. Physical Attributes Badgers have unique features. Usually badgers have bushy tails. Also they have big, thick fur.

3. Habitat and shelter A badgers shelter is a burrow 12 feet underground! Their shelter can be in grasslands. Sometimes they live in forests. And they can live in deserts too!

4. Diet And predators Badgers like to eat many things. Some things we eat they eat like fruit and also honey. They also eat things that people don’t eat that are different. Like small insects and sometimes they enjoy small animals for a meal. For example badgers eat skunks. But some animals eat a badger [Predators]. One animal that is a predator of a badger is sometimes a fox. Another animal an badger has to look out for is an eagle.
