1. Comenius Regio- parnership Locally for the Education. Polish- Germany exchange of experience for developing special education needs.

Our school improves an educational offer by: • participation in educational curriculum • organization After- School classes. • Developing of school and educational equipment • School structure development • International cooperation • Organizing of didactic-tutorial classes during 2-week camps • Integration courses • Family festivals with citizens • Developing teaching skills • Running vocational pre-orientation programs

4. Improvement of educational offer Our school develops educational offer by participation in European Union programs and projects, which mount after-school classes.

5. Realized programs: • Contemporary Michelangelo”- the development of passions and the development of equal opportunieties for students from Gliwice County • “Different but equal in Europe”- Comenius- “Lifelong Learning Programme • “CMS- What is this?- European Social Fund ”

6. “Contemporary Michelangelo- the development of passions and the development of equal opportunieties for students from Gliwice County.” Duration: January 2009- December 2010 The aim of this project was improvement educational offer of schools with general profile in Gliwice County and equalization educational chances by developing programs.

7. “Different but equal in Europe”- Comenius Lifelong Learning Programme Duration: 1.10.2007- 31.08.2009 Our school’s partner was Zakladni Skola in Opava from Czech Republic. During two years of cooperation our students had chances for exchanging their experiences and making friends.

8. “CMS- What is this?” • Duration: 1.06.2010- 31.01.2011 • The aim of this project is developing computer skills, using Internet technology, hammer out unificated rules of methodology according to e-portfolio technology. www.zsspyskowice.pl

13. “Education for development” Duration: January 2011- December 2012 Project’s classes: • Equalization classes of: Polish lessons, mathematic, speech correction therapy • Natural-ecological classes, art classes, dances classes, library classes, regional history classes, recite technics classes, English classes, business classes • Vocational education- advisory service • Pedagogical- psychological treatment, motivation classes, therapeutic story classes, Biofeedback therapy, dog therapy, hippotherapy • Modern methods of teaching reading and writing skills

14. „Support from the beginning” Duration: school year 2011/2012 The main goal of this project is increasing a social and vocational potential of participants and their environment.

15. Developing of school and educational equipment : • In our school we have: tailoring classroom, gastronomic classroom, woodworking

16. Developing school structure: We are developing our school equipment. We are adapting another rooms for our students’ needs

17. Developing school structure: • During school year 2006/2007 we opened Work adopting School for middle and deep mentally disabled students. • During school year 2009/2010 we opened Vocational School for such professions like: cooker, painter. • During school year 2010/2011 we opened school division in hospital in Toszek for primary school, junior high and vocational school students.

19. Organizing of didactic-tutorial classes during 2-week camps. • For making our educational offer more attractive we organize 2- week camps, where our students can learn and rest on fresh air, admire monuments and nature.

20. Integration classes: For improving our educational offer we cooperate with : Local Association of Culture and Sport, Others mass schools, integrations schools and special schools of Gliwice County

21. Family festivals In each June our school organize family festivals, where pupils show their achievements.

24. Running vocational pre-orientation programs To motivate our students to taking part in classes we organize trip to companies for preparing them to applying for a job.

25. The Complex of Special Schools in Pyskowice let each student developing and improving their skills and help young people to find a job, move easily on a job market. We prepare them to make their job the best.
