Review: Reading Strategies • Using a diagram to track the main characters in a novel. • Chart creation • Pre-reading: identification and listing of the main characters • Placing of the main characters in the center circle of the chart. • Reading and Reflecting: recording the most important actions in the outer circles.
Objectives • Today we will learn how to create a PowerPoint presentation using the AutoContent wizard. • You will have completed the lesson when you have made at least 2 slides about your favorite sports hero with a design background and at least 2 levels of detail on each slide.

Focus Lesson: Getting Started with PowerPoint • Create at least 3 slides about your favorite sports hero. The presentation must use the AutoContent wizard. Each slide must have: • Three complete sentences • An attractively formatted background • One font type • At least two levels of detail
