COMMANDER IN CHIEF AND CHIEF OF STAFF, AFP UPDATED PLANNING GUIDANCE • THERE WILL BE NO FOOTHOLD ON LACUHA • NO DISRUPTION OF SOCIO-ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN THE ISLAND • USE OF ADEQUATE DETERRENCE • ACTIVITIES SHOULD NOT BE CONSTRUED AS PROVOCATION ON THE PART OF NUVARIA
MISSION: On orders, JTF NOLCOM employing joint forces conducts show of force operation in Lacuha in order to deter enemy aggression and prevent the incursion of NAF JTF within Lacuha Island and any part of NOLCOM AOR.
COMMANDER’S INTENT: • Purpose: To deter enemy aggression • Method: • Conduct of force build-up • Conduct of naval maneuver and maritime domain exercises • Conduct of amphibious landing operations • End State: • The enemy’s aggression is deterred and the incursion of JTF NAF in Lacuha and other areas within NOLCOM AOR is prevented.
