Blackboard Vista replaces WebCT CE • Blackboard (BB) is the new VLE for UoM • BB is fully integrated with Campus Solutions unlike WebCT • All new VLE course development for academic year 2008/2009 should take place in BB from Feb 08 • From Feb 08 the Phase 3 roll out of BB • Every course unit in Campus Solutions has a dedicated presence in Blackboard; all first level course units should have a Blackboard module meeting the minimum requirements for delivery in session 2008-09
Showcase • Showcase 3 BB courses: • Communication in Education • eLearning Essentials • CAMILLE • These courses illustrate some of the new features found in the BB VLE • eLearning Essentials is a support site for designers
