  4. Meeting Dates: • September 4th @ 9:15 pm • September 25th @ 12:30 pm • October 9th @ 12:30 pm • October 23rd @ 12:30 pm • November 6th @ 12:30 pm • November 20th @ 9:15 pm • December 4th is PURC (time TBA)

  5. Priority Points • You will receive one point by attending the meetings and being an active participant. • You are permitted to miss ONE meeting without losing your attendance priority point • You will gain a second priority point by helping to plan our events. You must also attend and participate in all events • PURC IS MANDATORY *The priority point system is subject to change in January 2014 due to new SGA regulations

  7. Psychology Social: • September 13th 4:00-7:00 pm • Dr. Dunlap’s home: 26 Perkinsville Road Highland NY (directions will be emailed to you all) - All members are required to bring dessert/drinks/snack of some form • We will have a sign up sheet going around so you can sign up for what you would like to bring • If you are in need of transportation or are willing to drive others we will have a sign up sheet for you. We will be forming a carpool for the event.

  8. Dr. Lori Crispi • Dr. Crispi will be coming in as a guest speaker this semester • This will be taking place either October 9th or October 23rd during activity hour • She will be discussing careers within psychology and what you will be able to do with your degree • This event will be open to the entire Marist community

  9. Fundraiser • There will multiple dates announced throughout the semester for: - Pizza sales in the breezeway - Bake sales in the breezeway • These dates are TBA and will be discussed further • We are open to new ideas and suggestions in order to raise funds for the club

  10. Guest Speaker Sylvia Aroch Director of the I/O Graduate Program at the University of Albany Date is TBA- Most likely in November

  11. PURC • Psych Undergrad Research Conference • December 4th time & location are TBA due to construction • Attendance & Participation is MANDATORY (If you are taking Research Methods & will be presenting at PURC this semester that will count as your participation) This is our biggest event of the semester and will be discussed further as the semester continues

  12. T-Shirts • Purchasing a t-shirt is mandatory • Our club t-shirts MUST be worn to our events • A sheet for sizes will be passed around the classroom • They will cost $10 each • Money is due on September 25 (If purchasing a t-shirt is an issue for anyone please come speak to a board member after the meeting)
