Risk, Emergency & Disaster task force (REDLAC) Regional Coordination mechanism established in 2003 considering the presence of several regional agencies present in Panama and inspired by the IASC
vision Reduce the impact of natural disasters and emergencies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Mission Raise the impact of humanitarian actions in Latin America and the Caribbean through the coordination of humanitarian actors and their assistance to public institutions and civil society for the benefit of vulnerable populations.
RED – LAC’sFunctions and activities • Inter-agency activities are discussed and carried- out according to annual action plans approved by members at the beginning of the year (+ all Ad Hoc activities)
