How people become celebrities: • - Heir- From their profession- Appearances in the mass media like talent shows, talk shows, reality show, YouTube etc.- Scandals (for people who already are known well)- Get instant fame and become a model- Sports
Historyofcelebrityculture • To be known in the world in ancient times, it was necessary to obtain information through the public. • Gods of Greek and Roman Pantheon. • Distress of knowing led to the creation of myths, stories and believe of the gods. • Remembered for centuries to come, just like the pharaohs did.
Modern history of celebrity culture • Interested in what kind of status the celebrities are in , and less a matter of applying skills and talents in celebrities as it was in old times. • It’s a matter of course that talent shows up first, but the longing for what the celebrities can surprise people with, the unexpected, makes it more interesting.
