Learning Content Update Dwayne Eldridge Learning Content Lead 14 March 2014
Learning Content • The first four subject areas (i.e., 2.1 – 2.4) will be considered as ‘testable’ material for determining if learning transfer has occurred based on the learning formats. • Volunteers will have optional content available for their learning pleasure
Learning Content Formats • Each format type will replicate the International Military Student Pre-Departure Briefing (IMSPDB) material as provided on the CD. • Formats will be available for a review by MLS Team Members to ensure there are no compatibility issues by 30 March 2014 (except for the Mobile Application) • The Mobile Application will be available in the Android Market
Conclusions • The video for the IMSPDB material that is considered testable is 4 minutes 53 seconds in duration • The ePublication will contain a Table of Content that clearly identifies the IMSPDB material along with an Index that supports look-ups and content re-familiarization • Since it can take between 10 – 14 days for new mobile content to be approved, the DISAM Mobile App will be not available for viewing by the MLS Team until TBD.Once available, it can be downloaded from the Android Market (maybe) • There will not be any revisions or updating of the IMSPDB content until after the completion of the MLS Concept Evaluation until the MLS Evaluations (i.e., use case) justifies the need
