Double 8 Foods Rain Garden Initiative: Beautifying, Educating, and Sustaining Indy

Join the collaboration between Double 8 Foods, IndyTilth, and local neighborhood associations to install rain gardens around the Double 8 parking lot. This initiative aims to beautify the area, reduce stormwater runoff, and educate the community. You can get involved by participating in monthly volunteer work parties to help weed, prune, and mulch during the first 2-3 years. Food and tools will be provided. Contact Sarah at 3370 Broadway or email swiehe@gmail.com to find out more and be a part of this sustainable project.
