Pacific Pacific is the biggest ocean in the world. It takes one third of Earth´s surface and half of surface of world ocean. Average depth is 4,030 metres and maximal is 11,034. Fauna introduce 20 kinds of flourishing plant and almost 4,000 kinds of lower plants. There live a mass of sea primates and fish especially sardines and tunas. Through the pacific circulate many water and air ways.
Atlantic Ocean Atlantic ocean is the second biggest ocean and it is situated between Europe, Africa, east coast of North and South America and Antarctica. Its name comes from Greek mythology and means Atlas´s sea. With border bays and seas it takes 106,46 millions km². Average depth is 3,332 metres. On Bahamas is dredged aragonite sand and in the Caribbean sea, North sea and Gulf of Mexico is exploited oil and natural gas.
Indian Ocean Indian ocean is the third biggest ocean in the world. On the north is bounded by south Asia, on west by Arabic foreland and Africa, on east by Malay foreland, Sundian islands and Australia. It takes 73,5 millions km². Average depth is 3,736 metres. The biggest island is Madagascar. It is warmest and saltiest ocean. In Indian ocean is exploited oil.
Arctic ocean Arctic ocean is situated beyond north polar circle and is smallest and shallowest ocean. Arctic ocean takes 14 millions km². Arctic ocean is surrounded by coasts of Eurasia, North America and Greenland. In Arctic ocean is exploited oil and natural gas. There live primarily fish and primates(seals and whales).
