Foundation Basics • Governed by 12-person Board • Grant, Promotion and Legal Committees are open to non-Board members • Church members are Foundation members • Meetings are open to church members
Mission • Southminster Foundation supports the church’s mission with funding for community non-profit programs that serve the needy, and funding for Southminster Presbyterian Church’s building and membership programs.
2013 Highlights - Financial • Dec. 31, 2013 Managed Assets: $645,684 • 2013 Grants = $18,600 • $9,500 to Community Organizations • $9,100 to Southminster • Total Grants since 1980 > $800,000 • ~ $400,000 to Community Organizations • ~ $400,000 to Southminster
