Adjectives in Spanish. Some adjectives in Spanish change depending on whether you are describing a male or female. Marta esalta. Marta is tall. Marcos es alto. Marcos is tall. Pablo esbajo. Pablo is short. Patiesbaja. Pati is short.

To say that someone is NOT something, add “No” in front of the verb. Marta no esbaja. Marta is not short. Pablo no es alto. Pablo is not tall.
