Injuries & Deaths • Approximately 6 deaths since 1985 in District IV • A rodman was killed in a construction zone by a hit and run driver • A crew was on top of the overpass and I-95 were hit and all 3 were killed • A rodperson was killed on an overpass on I-95, St. Lucie County • A survey crew had their truck struck while parked in a lane of traffic • A survey crew member was walking on the shoulder of the TP when a truck struck him, but he did survive

26. Rail Road Entry • Please be advised under no circumstances are you to enter R/R, R/W. If it is necessary to enter the R/W you must first request permission from CSX. If you plan to be out there you will be responsible for any costs associated with the CSX. Also, keep in mind it takes approximately one month to set up a flag person so don't wait to the last minute to put your request.
