  8. Queenston Heights Main Ideas: • One of the most famous battles • Near Niagara on the Lake • Rowed across Niagara River from New York to Upper Canada • Major General Brock rushed to attack and was attacked by sniper. Died instantly

  10. Americans were pushed back to the river • British won & American lost. Leader was gone. • Victory for British: • 1000 American prisoners • Few British loses • War Hero – Monument near Niagara Falls, Ontario.
