Where are llamas from? • Originate from Central plains of North America about 10 million years ago • Migrated to South America, while members of camel family became extinct in North America

What is the average lifespan of a llama? • 15 to 29 years How much do newborns weigh? • 20 - 35 pounds
How much do adult llamas weigh? • 250 - 450 pounds How tall is an adult llama? • 5 - 6.5 feet tall at head
