  3. The One Who said “I will build my church” showed us by His own life and example how He was going to build the Church- Sacrifice!!!

  4. GODLY CROWNS ARE GREATER THAN EARTHLY TROPHIES

  5. THE FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH IS THE CROSS!: • “And he bearing his cross went forth into • which is called in the Hebrew Galgotha: • Where they crucified Him…” -John 19:17-18

  6. For the purpose of this message, a trophy is a medal that is earned through human effort. Crowns are however bestowed on a person through covenant inheritance, gained through Sonship.

  7. GOD-GIVEN ATTRIBUTES CAN SET YOU ON A COURSE TO ACHIEVING SOME TROPHIES FOR YOURSELF

  8. Trophies you must cast down • The trophy of fame and popularity- • The trophy of money and material prosperity- • The trophy of power and influence-

  9. The trophy of glamour, sexual and material exploration.- • The trophy of Academic achievements for its own sake.- • The trophy of ecclesiastical titles • The trophy of Endorsement and “good friendships”-

  10. SPIRIT-FILLED LAY OFFICERS • ACCEPTING PROFESSIONAL POSTING TO DEPRIVED AREAS FOR MISSIONS • STAY IN AND HELP BUILD SOME LOCAL ASSEMBLIES

  11. Offer yourselves to the Full Time Ministry irrespective of your high academic achievement- • Enter into Politics not for the fame,   • Decide to do business God’s way and show honesty and ethic in all you do so others will be encouraged or challenged. • Decide to only sing in a God-glorifying manner.

  12. If you are in Media, you will tell the truth. Allow yourself to be built as a living stone. Be like Christ. • Learning will not take over your head and fill you with pride. • Become a Financial Pillar for the Church of Pentecost –

  13. We should move from personal profit and satisfaction to kingdom purpose and motivation

  14. Heaven is waiting for people who will enter its gates bearing their crosses. Heaven will then take your cross and give you a crown.

  15. Those who bear crowns must work for what the crown represents. Our crowns have been prepared, waiting for us. • If we catch that revelation, it will affect how we see ourselves (Identity) what we do with our resources (Priorities) and the worth we place on things or standard of behavior (Values).

  16. You have the Crown of Kings and Priests waiting for you. What work must you allow yourself to be used for?

  17. THIS IS SOWING TIME. • HOLD TIGHT TO YOUR CROSS, IT IS THE MOST PRICEST COMMODITY FOR ATTAINING CROWNS IN THE KINGDOM.
