INTERACT CLUB ACTIVITY "Serving society and serving humanity" With this motto in the minds, the students of Green Thumbs and Interact Club took an initiative to educate under privileged sections of the society. The students of the club started a program "Each one teach one" in which they conducted classes for the working staff ( housekeeping)of the school. In today's session they taught them the first ten cardinal numbers.

GURUPARAV ACTIVITY Keeping with the secular ethos of the school, the students of The Modern School, Faridabad celebrated Gurupurab, one of the several auspicious religious festivals in Sikhism, to mark the Parkash Utsav of Guru Nanak DevJi. The assembly commenced with the morning prayer followed by the news and thought for the day. A mesmerizing Shabad rendered by the school choir left the audience spell bound. Thereafter the students chanted the Mool Mantra ‘Ek Om Kar’ from the Guru Granth Sahib. A short video highlighting the teachings of Guru Nanak DevJi was shown to the students. The significance of Gurupurab and various rituals associated with the festival were also elucidated in the assembly. Finally the ‘KadhaParshad’ was distributed to everyone in the school.

  4. LETTER-Z ACTIVITY Today the students of Nursery-AA (Active Angels) did the activity related to Letter-Z.They walked on the Zig-Zag pattern made on floor by glitter tape. This activity helps to enhance their gross motor skills and they thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

  5. SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM The School Health Program is defined as “the school procedures that contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the health of pupils including health services, healthful living and health education”.With this view, the school organised a “Free Medical Health Check-up Camp” for students of Nursery- P3 on 11th -12th October 2017. A team of doctors from QRG Health City conducted the camp which included BMI Check-up, Dental Check-up and Eye Check-up. Necessary advice and precautionary measures were given to the students. Camp was successfully organized under the guidance of the Headmistress Ms. Neetu Blest and faculty members supported in the coordination of the camp.

  6. GANDHI JAYANTI CELEBRATION “The best way to serve yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Mahatma GandhiKeeping this thought in mind a special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti by Grades P2 to S3. Dressed in white Indian attire, some students were seen entering the gates of the school with great excitement and enthusiasm. The assembly began with a song based on our’ Father of the Nation’ , Mahatma Gandhi. Thereafter some students came to shower some knowledgeable facts on Gandhiji and on his life which served to be very informative and insightful.
