  1. Why Reading Books to Kids is Beneficial? The most cherished part of growing up is hearing stories from parents or grandparents. As a kid you really enjoy hearing stories or fables about mythological characters or superheroes from your parents and grandparents. And as a parent, telling story to the kid is the way you instil important values in your kids and teach them important lessons in life. When you tell a story with a moral lesson to your kid, he will always remember the moral lesson and it will get cemented in his/her life. And one of the great ways to tell stories is through children books. There are a plenty children books on amazon. Child learns life-changing lessons Reading books to the child is the great way to teach him/her important lessons in his/her life. When he/she hears how the character in the story used to behave with others, he/she will also get inspiration to be like the character. Child will learn values from the story such as - 1.Friendship – he shall learn how to be a good friend offellow school mates 2.Honesty – he shall learn how to be truthful always towards elders 3.Humility – he shall learn how to be humble with everyone around you 4.Sharing – he shall learn how to share his/her belongings with others who might be around

The child will remember how you are spending quality time with him/her and will always love you for doing that. A child always cherishes stories. So, if you read him stories with a moral ending, he will draw a lot of inspiration from it. You get to know the child When you read a book to the child you are essentially talking with him/her. So, you get to discuss about stories and what their characters did in the story. You get to ask questions to the child on why someone did a thing or why someone behaved in a way. In this way you get to understand the child’s mentality based on how he/she reacts to the stories. As a parent, you should look for the best children books, so that children learn the right values in the most interesting way. Reading books to your kids is perhaps a ritual which will create a long- lasting impact on your child and improve your relationship with him/her.
