Practical Fruit crumble
What you need • Take off your jumpers • Tie long hair back • Take of all jewellery • Put stools away • Wash your hands • Put your apron on • Prepare your work area • Have all ingredients on a white tray • Weigh out ingredients • Work in an organised fashion Ingredients 150g Plain Flour (you can substitute 50g of flour for 50 oats) 75g Margarine 75g Sugar 500g ready prepared fruit filling
Method • Light the oven to Gas 6/200c . • Pour ready prepared fruit filling into ovenproof dish. • Make the crumble: Place the flour into large bowl, add the margarine. • ‘Rub in’ the fat into the flour using the tips of your fingers. It should resemble breadcrumbs. • Stir in the sugar • Pour over the fruit in the oven proof dish and level off. • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
