My name is Eboni Allen, and I am a self-proclaimed writer. Written word was my first best friend. In hindsight that sounds cute, and maybe even a little pretentious, but I can assure you that, at the time, it was neither. In all transparency, Iu2019ve never quite felt like I truly understood people, or like they really understood me for that matter. Books get me though, and I them! As long as Iu2019ve been able to read, Iu2019ve had my head in a book. No exaggeration, all of my free time growing up was spent readin g or writing. I have always been very opinionated, but have been too introverted to share my opinions with the public for most of my life. This blog is an attempt to push myself out of my comfort zone.<br>
