  2. About us • Our occupational therapists can help patients to safely and independently perform activities of daily living, including cooking, bathing, and dressing. Using wide range of interventions, our therapists adopt tasks and modify the environment to enhance each patients ability to function in their physical and social environment. They provide sensory-motor treatment for strength, endurance, range of motion, and balance. They can also help with memory orientation, cognitive skills and daily life.

How Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy overlap • Both educate people about the healing process • Both educate people on how to prevent and avoid injury • Both play very important roles and specialize in their areas of expertise • Both assist people with improving their ability to perform daily activities through training and education

What do Occupational Therapists • Therapeutic Listening is an individualized program to help students enhance their listening and attention to and communication with the world around them in a more meaningful way. It is a music-based program that teaches and improves a students’ ability to effectively listen, learn and communicate.
