  1. Ultra High Temperature Pasteurization

  2. WHAT IS Ultra High Temperature (UHT) Pasteurization Processing Ultra High Temperature pasteurizationare temperature ranges at which you can process your products. HTST processes include pasteurization, high-acid aseptic processing, and hot-filling. Low-acid aseptic processing is a UHT process. Finally, Extended Shelf Life (ESL) processes are performed at the HTST or UHT temperature range, depending on the product. Your product, shelf-life, and storage needs will determine the process and temperature range to best fit your needs. HTST and UHT refer to temperature ranges in which processes are conducted. Common UHT temperature range: 136°-149° C (277°-300° F)

  3. NEW AI INDIRECT SERIES LAB UHT PROCESSOR EQUIPMENT USAGE & APPLICATIONS Ease-of-Use and Accuracy speeds product development and reduces development time Extensive Automation reduces training needs and operation time Extensive flexibility Enables one machine to do the processes of multiple pilot processing machines Enables products from juices to puddings to be made on one machine

  4. Benefits of Pasteurization Reduces need for preservatives Preserves freshness, flavor, nutrients Commonly available at co-packers Can be used for wide range of products Disadvantages of Pasteurization Products MUST be refrigerated Relatively short shelf life

  5. COMMONLY PASTEURIZED PRODUCTS Yogurts Puddings Liquid Eggs Milks and Dairy Orange Juice Fruit Punches Drinks like lemonade or lime-ade
