  7. Interfacing with a Computer Advanced Functions Advanced functions can be accessed when interfaced with a computer. These include: • Downloading, viewing, and deleting alarm and plasmagram files • Advanced Menu Functions • Upgrading Software • Special Viewing Options

Interfacing with a Computer Installing Active Sync and ITMS • Insert the CD into the CD-Rom drive • The installation dialog box will appear • Click on ‘Install ActiveSync 3.0’ • Follow the prompts to complete installation • At ‘Get Connected’ dialog box click ‘Cancel’ • Click ‘OK’ at the Microsoft dialog box • The installation dialog box will reappear • Click on ‘Install ITMS software to control the VaporTracer2’ • The Software will install and the itms-vt Icon will appear on the computer desktop

Advanced Menu Functions Upgrading Software • Insert the upgrade disk into the computer CD Rom drive • Press <ALT-U> on the computer. • When prompted, press the ENTER button on the VaporTracer2. • Click OK when the Upgrade Now message appears. • Once the upgrade has been completed, the VaporTracer2 will restart automatically.
