The e-services section of the www.cap.govweb site provides informational and transactional tools that assist members and certain non-members in conduction CAP related mission and administrative business. Permissions to access the features in e-services are controlled in various ways depending on who you are, unit of assignment, assigned duty position, unit commander desires, and authorized processes employed. eServices Overview
CAP Utilities • CAP Calendar -- Civil Air Patrol Calendar of Events for Units • CAP Directory -- Civil Air Patrol and CAP-USAF key personnel directory • CAP Emblems & Seals -- Commonly used seals and emblems available for download. • CAP Knowledgebase -- Resolved questions and answers and other information make up the knowledgebase. • CAP Meeting Minutes -- A listing of meeting minutes. • CAP Online Exams -- Operations Online Courses & Exams • CAP Pubs and Forms -- Civil Air Patrol Publications • CAPWATCH Download -- Allows members to download information about their unit and members to a Access database. • Interactive Personnel System -- Allows the user to view data at a specified level given by the WSA. • M.I.M.S. (FMS) Personal Currency – Allows a member the ability to track their pilot currency data. • M.I.M.S. (FMS) Qual/Cert – Allows a member the ability to track member qualifications. • M.I.M.S. Personal Approval Report – Reporting listing of individual quals. This report allows a member to view the status of their specialty awaiting approval.
CAP Utilities (cont.) • NCSA Main Menu – National Cadet Summer Activities. Allows a member to select activities and submit payments. • Personal CAPF 101 – Printable CAPF101 card. • Personal CAPF 101T – Printable CAPF101T worksheet. • Personal Multi-ES Entry – Allows a member to upload ES tasks in bulk. • Personal Multi-Pilot Entry – Allows a member to upload pilot data. • Recruiting Material – Allows a member to request CAP Marketing/Recruiting Material.
How to access eServices • How do I register for eServices? • Go to www.capnhq.gov and click on “First-time” users link. • How do I receive my Username and Password? • After you register, an email will be sent to the email address you submitted. • First time log on procedure. • You will be prompted to change your password and provide a question and answer. The question and answer section is for security purposes in case you forget your password. • How do I use the Password Look-Up Form? • Enter your username or CAPID and click on Password-Lookup. You will be prompted to enter an answer to the question you submitted. An email will be sent you. • How do I renew my membership online? • If you are within your renewal period, click on Membership Renewal to renew online located on the homepage of eServices. If your membership has lapse and you are within your renewal period, when you log on you will be redirected to the Membership Renewal form.
Restricted Applications Restricted Applications permit selective access to online transactions and report features that are made available via the internet. Each unit commander has the responsibility to grant access to the various mission and business web pages through an appointed WSA (Web Security Administrator, this can be the commander or one or more designated, trusted unit members).
Restricted Applications • After Flight Reporting -- Application to record all flight data after the flight is flown. • CAP Image Upload for Commanders -- Allows Commanders or designees ability to upload members photos. • CAPWATCH DownLoad -- Allows a user to download CAPWATCH for a specified level given by the WSA. • CATS -- Civil Air Patrol Asset Tracking System. • Cadet O’flight Reports -- Cadet O’flight Reporting Module. • Calendar Admin -- Updates the Calendar system. • Duty Assignment -- Allows the user to add or remove members to/from duty positions. *The duty positions assigned does not reflect Specialty Track. • Event Administration -- application provides headquarters' staff with a complete process lifecycle, from setting up new events to managing payments. • Form8 -- Application used for ordering forms, certificates and tests. • Form 18 -- Operations Monthly Activity Report. • Form82 -- Counterdrug Monthly Activity Report.
Restricted Applications (cont.) • Group Admin -- Allows the addition/removal of units to/from Groups. • Interactive Personnel System -- Allows the user to view data at a specified level given by the WSA. • M.I.M.S.(FMS) -- M.I.M.S (Member Information Management System) is designed to track member achievements, qualifications, certifications and other such items in many CAP functional areas. • Organizational Contacts -- Updates the Unit Locator with current Org contact info. • Personnel Information Change -- Allows an Admin or Personnel Officer to update contact information for everyone in the specified area given by the WSA. • SSN Search -- Application to search for or validate Social Security Numbers. • Validate CAP Picture -- Allows the wing commander or designee to validate CAP pictures presented on the CAPF 101. • Vehicles (Form 73) --Application used to track vehicle usage in the field. • WSA Admin -- Designed to grant permissions to other applications.
