Energy Solutions? … a 2010 study found Germany’s average energy rates (32 cents / kWh) and energy taxes (41%) to be second highest in the EU, behind Denmark. Georgia’s rates averaged 9 cents per kWh.
U.S. Greenhouse Gas Emissions… in a global perspective • U.S. energy-related CO2 emissions are projected to increase by an average of 0.2% per year from 2006 – 2030. Consequently, U.S. share of world CO2 emissions is projected to fall to 15.4% in 2030. • China’s share of global energy-related CO2 emissions is projected to grow from 21% in 2006 to 29% in 2030, and China accounts for 51% of projected world emissions over the period.
