0. plasma density profile in the polar cap earth magnetosphere Electron density by AKEBONO[Kitamura et al.,2008] Electron density in the polar cap by S3-3[Kletzing et al.,1998] In general, plasma density decrease with altitude. In the high-altitude polar cap, plasma density is very low.

2-5. Result and Discussion B SEDがあけぼの衛星が観測している極冠域高高度の局所的プラズマ密度上昇を引き起こしている可能性が高い。 密度上昇(SED/TOI)内のあけぼの衛星のイオン観測より、 ①極冠域において、SED/TOIは、Polar Windを強める方向には働いていない。 ②O+ ionが支配的(←SEDが低・中の電離圏高度のプラズマで構成?)
3-1. 3-3. Electron temperature model in TOI ・通常のモデル by AKEBONO → 高度1500-3000kmの観測を指数近似で表した 電子温度=2727.5×exp(0.0002685×高度) ・密度上昇内のモデル by AKEBONO,DMSP → 4000K@高度3000km になるように調整した → 3500K@高度850km になるように調整した 電子温度=2850.0×exp(0.0001400×高度)
3-4. Ion density and temperature model in TOI Ion composition 通常:観測(平均) TOI内:観測(平均) ・[H+イオン] + [He+イオン] + [O+イオン] = 100% ・電子密度 = イオン密度 ※イオン温度 = 2000K 高度にかかわらず一定とした。 ※O+速度 = 0km/s 高度にかかわらず一定とした。 TOI内:モデル 通常:モデル
※TOI内モデルでは、通常モデルに比べ、 ・O+衝突による減速(O+の密度が増加したため) ・電場加速→約40%減少@2300km ・圧力勾配加速→約20%減少@2300km 3-5. Result : H+ ion velocity model in TOI H+ionの運動方程式 : dvH+/dt = -g+ eE/mH+– νH+O+(vH+-vO+)– (▽pH+)/mH+nH+ νH+O+ = 1.23nO+/(TO+)3/2 TOI内:モデル 通常:モデル
TOI内のH+イオンの低速度(アウトフローにならない)の原因については以下が考えられる。TOI内のH+イオンの低速度(アウトフローにならない)の原因については以下が考えられる。 1. O+ion密度が増加したことによるO+ionとの衝突による減速 (↑定性的) 2. 分極電場加速の減少(定量的に見積もれた) 3. 圧力勾配加速の減少(定量的に見積もれた) 3-6. Result and Discussion ※H+の速度=0km/s@1500kmとして、計算 ※まだ衝突に関する項についてのモデルが未完成
4. Summary and Future work ・あけぼの衛星の長期の観測により、ごく稀に(太陽活動がmax付近に、約7%)、極冠域の高高度において、比較的低温なプラズマで構成された局所的な密度増加が観測。 ・あけぼの衛星、DMSP衛星、GPS衛星、SuperDARNの同時観測から、極冠域の高高度の局所的な密度上昇は、SED/TOIにより引き起こされている可能性が高い。 ・SED/TOIは、低・中緯度の比較的にO+が支配的な電離圏高度のプラズマで構成されていると推測できる。 ・極冠域に侵入したSED/TOIは、Polar Wind(アウトフロー)を強化する方向には働いていない。・・・原因:圧力勾配、分極電場による加速が減少。増加したO+との衝突。 ・モデルの再検討(衝突項を完成させる。いろんなパターンを作成し、それぞれの特性を確認) ・SED/TOIのカスプ・夜側でのアウトフローについて確認。
