2. Television 1960 2010 Some have big, wide screens. We now have remote control. We have color varieties. We have dish and cable TV. We have a lot of channels. Some had small screens. They had no remote controls, There was no color. There was no HD. There was not a lot of channels.

3. Computers 1960 2010 They have big screens. Some look look a book. They load very fast. The motor is small. There is laptops. They had a small screen. Some looked like a type writer. They took a while to load. The computer motor was big. There was no laptops.

4. Telephones 1960 There were mostly no push button phones. Some were called rotary phones. There were crank phones with a microphone and a separate speaker. They had to have an operator. The operator had a switch board which was a big wall that had holes that looked like a peg board with a wire called a jack. How it worked was you picked up and a light would come on at the telephone office. Then you would tell the number that you wanted to call and the operator would connect you with the jack and pull a lever and you were calling. 2010 There are a lot of push button phones. There are not many rotary phones. There no crank phones. We don’t use operators anymore. We now have call waiting, hold, and answering machines.

5. Trucks 1960 2010 A lot run on diesel fuel. There are a lot of dooly trucks. They have push button windows and air conditioning. They are very tall. Some have very long boxes. Most ran on regular gas. There wasn’t many dooly trucks. They had roll down windows. They were short in height. They didn’t have long boxes.

6. Tractors 1960 2010 There are cabs. There a lot of levers. The brakes are now brake peddles with the clutch. They have radio. They have a three point hitch. They had no cab. There was not as many levers, a brake on each side. There was only a clutch peddle. Most had a PTO. There was no three point hitch.
