  2. The Iraqi War • Brief conflict in 2003 Iraq and a combined force of troops largely from the U.S and Great Britain. President Bush began to plan war 3 months after the attack of 9/11.

  3. Our Solution • Our solution is to stop the Iraq war all together. It’s not a very easy way out but it could be the only way out. Our troops are becoming smaller, and our economy isn’t on our side. We discovered there are only 50,000 troops left and General Ray Ordierno, military commander believes all U.S troops will be out of the country by the end of 2011.

Washington 20500 February 8, 2011 25545 Janice Dr. Seaford, DE, 19973 Dear Barrack Obama, We would like to state a particular problem in our government, but for starters, we are two eighth grade students, from Seaford Delaware, attending Seaford middle school. Our assignment was to select a state, city, or federal government situation. We chose to research the Iraq War. That brings us to the reasoning for our letter.

  5. We perceived information pertaining to this specific topic, and it wasn’t very satisfying. One of the statements we read was that “There are only 50,000 U.S troops left; Ray Ordierno believes they will all be out of the country by the end of 2011.” We began discussing after grasping this piece of information and came to a conclusion, if our troops are gone and don’t survive in this war, the only other option may be sending those who are in training and, or, those who have not yet had the chance to decide whether they would like to correspond in the Iraq War. Not only is the amount of troops a problem, but our economy surely is not on our side. We realize you differentiate this particular situation, but we as U.S citizens liked to speak our minds and let those who participate and control the topic. We also understand there may be nothing anyone can do about this, but it’s always nice to do as much as we can. We came up with a solution, to terminate this war all together. We could be old fashioned and write a treaty, or something along those lines. We all know this war has been going on far too long my partner and I believe it’s bound to have an end in short order, it is destroying the lives of many.
