12. Huaihe River Basin Huaihe river water system:covers 189 thousand square kilometers, which account for 70 percent of the Huaihe River basin. The main -streem is 1000 kilometers long.

CODmn index of 130 sections exceeded the class water quality standard; NH3-N index of 128 sections exceeded the class standard; DO index of 85 sections exceeded the required standard; BOD index of 39 sections exceeded the required standard; Volatile phenol index of 27 sections exceeded the required standard.
