Sereď My town Barbora Marková
Sereď is a city located in Trnava. It has an area of 30.454 km ² and lived here almost 18 000 inhabitants.Sereď is rich in monuments, such as the Water Castle, now remains of the castle in the city park in which they found a variety of historical artifacts. During World War II there is the camp where Jews were detained (currently located in these areas barracks).
Water Castle • The pride of the town was once the mansion, Classical Eszterházy seat. After the 2nd World War II, the house was expropriated, in the early sixties of the last century it was the seat of the District National Committee, after school music and art since the early nineties castle perish.
Museum • Sered City Museum was founded on the initiative of the citizens of Sered, and was opened to the public 15th December 2004. Housed in a former Roman Catholic parish, now known as Fándlyho rectory.
Grammar School • Vojtech Mihálik Sereď Grammar School is the eight-year and four-year study with a general focus. Students in the last two years of study focusing elected choice of four possible modules: social-, economic, science and technology.
