Magnetic particles with terminal ion-exchange groups can serve as solid phase of ion-exchange chromatography to separate proteins, antibodies, DNA/RNA and other biomolecules. Charged proteins or peptides will bind to magnetic particles with opposite charge. When the iso-electric point (pI) of the target protein or peptide is below the pH of the buffer, anion exchange magnetic particles should be selected, and vice versa. Ion-exchange magnetic beads are characterized for either strong or weak exchangers. The binding strength varies little for strong exchangers during pH changes while vary greatly with weak exchangers in the same condition. Creative Diagnostics offers various strong and weak ion-exchange beads to meet the needs of clients. http://www.cd-bioparticles.com/l/Ion-exchange-Magnetic-Particles_20_196_0.html
