  5. Climax • There is a knocking at the door • Mr. White makes his third and final wish

  6. Falling Action • The knocking stops • The Whites lose their son forever • They are left with nothing but a cold, dark, empty house "The street light flickering opposite shone on a quiet and deserted road."
