New Media/Technology Story Telling: Using Vogler’s Archetypes in Modern Media • Christopher Vogler, native to St Louis Missouri received his BA in Journalism at the University of Missouri in 1971. • After Serving in the U.S. Air force making documentaries for the Government, he eventually attended film school at the University of Southern California. • As a Film student, reading Joseph Campbell’s book The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Vogler was inspired to form the theories we I am using today from his book, The Writers Journey.
