3. Introduction The theme of this anthology is that you can have fun in any season. I was originally just going to do my anthology about summer but I couldn’t find enough poems about it without them just being pretty much the same. So I decided to do all four seasons instead. The problem I found with this though was that there were no poems about spring that fit into the theme. The poem “Summer Morning” talks about how great it is to wake up on a nice clear summer morning. The song “Summertime” by Bon Jovi says “You make me feel something like summertime. Top down ain't nothing but time” which I think means that summer time is a great feeling. My poem “Summer  Winter” names a few fun thing about summer and about winter. “Summer Days” has my favorite line out of all the poems, “Let the good times never end!”. “Coasting Down the Hill” the author talks about having fun sledding down the hill with all his friends. “Winter Haiku” talks about the things I enjoy about winter, curling, snowmen, and skiing. “Summer is Great” is a tyburn that explains why summer is great. “Summer Sun” is a shape poem that says the warm summer sun provides the warmth for all the fun things that you do during the summer. “Fall” is a Cinquain about autumn and talks about raking and jumping in the leaves. “Winter is another Diamante that talks about other good things about winter and summer. In “Autumn Lingers” the author says that they like taking walks in the Fall. “Summer Acrostic” is an Acrostic poem about summer. It says that summer is carefree. “December 1st” is not the actual title of the poem, the poem did not have a title but the date was written where the title should be so I called it that. It fits with my theme because it talks about how its cold in the winter with all the snow and how the author cant wait for summer. The last three poems are the bonus poems. They are a little more far fetched to the theme but they still kind of fit.

4. Summer Morning I saw the dawn creep across the sky And all the gulls go flying by. I saw the sea put on it’s dress Of midsummer loveliness, And I heard the trees begin to stir Green arms of pine and juniper.
