  6. Football Fans and Cardiff City Football Club (CCFC) • 82% of those interviewed watch football • However, 30% of those who watch football have never seen Cardiff City play • Conversely 70% have watched Cardiff City – but how many times? More than half only up to 9 times

Visiting the new Cardiff City Stadium? • 72% intend to visit the new stadium • Of this group 36% have seen Cardiff City play between 1 to 9 times ever • 80% of these people have watched Cardiff City • That leaves 20% of those who intend to visit the new stadium who have never seen Cardiff City play

  11. What do you most enjoy about watching Cardiff? Great atmosphere… the craic… the buzz Supporting my home team Everything about football Meeting my friends Cheap for teenagers Quality football… they’re my team!

  12. Why don’t you watch the City? Don’t like football … prefer rugby Price of tickets Time, family commitments Bad behaviour and people standing up Teaching children to swear I think there may be trouble

  13. What would encourage you to go? Good facilities and opposition Promotion! Cheaper prices and family ticket deals Better players and opposition Free parking and ‘taster’ tickets Friends to go with
