  1. Tuesday, September 13, 2011College English No journal or SSR today. Please write today’s date and “Lab Day” in your journal. Today you will be in the lab again working onthe “College Research” assignment (see sheet provided or locate it in the class website’s “Document Library). You will likely need to work on this outside of class. *Notes will be checked Friday 9/16.

Today’s Agenda • SSR • Journals—see slide 1 for prompt • Review “Stepping Stones” assignment. • Finish working on Part 1 • Brainstorm milestones in your notebook FIRST! • Rough draft timeline of milestones in your notebook. • Final draft of timeline on long sheet of paper. Please make it easy to read—include a short blurb about the event. Once you are done with part 1… • Begin Part 2: • Select which milestone you will write about. Write your rough draft in your notebook. Due Monday. • We will go to the lab Monday to type FINAL, polished drafts. Have them ready and bring with you Monday.
