Interior Designer Vanessa Chambe hr.1 Patterns Textures Colors
Introduction • “What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”(Jane Goodall). I would love to become an interior designer one day. I love being creative and expressing myself through art. Even though I love being creative, my goal of becoming an interior designer did not start there. My dad works at the design center for General Motors Corporation (GMC). A few years ago he took me to take your kid to work day with my brothers. At the design center there is an interior design room. When we walked into that room I felt like I was in a magical world. It was the most spectacular thing I had ever seen. I was so fascinated by the variety of colors, patterns, and textures. I felt like a little kid walking into a candy shop. After that day I knew design was the avenue I wanted to take. I plan to research what the average salary of an interior designer is, what types of interior design work there is, and if there are many jobs available in this type of field. The ooh states that you typically need a bachelors degree for the interior design field. I can’t wait to learn more about interior design! Jane Goodall
