Why Replace WinSchool? WinSchool : An aging, unsupported system PowerSchool: An Integrated enterprise web-based system • Pearson stopped supporting and upgrading WinSchool in July 2012 • WinSchool is a school based system with 320+ databases • Limited functional flexibility, no web based access • Growing number of workarounds • Able to provide web-based access for administrators, teachers, parents and students • Pearson will continue the WinSchool support until the end of the implementation and there no charge for licenses because we own WinSchool licenses.
