Getting the Year Started • Today is Meet Your Teachers from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. (come & go) • Ice cream social in the 1st Floor Auditorium: 1:00- 3:00 p.m. (come & go) • 7th-12th grade schedules may be picked up this afternoon or Tuesday morning before class in the 3rd floor lobby
Lunch Program • Hot lunch served every day starting Tuesday, September 6 • Menus posted on website • Pay by check during the first few weeks of school. • Working on billing through Cornerstone • Instructions will be sent the first week of school • For questions, visit table on 1st floor lobby TODAY
Morning Carpool • One line of cars down the morning carpool lane • PK – 6th grade students must be dropped off in the HCCSA lobby • Want to walk your child in? • Park in the parking lot by the portables & walk across the crosswalk • Upper school students (7th-12th grade) can be dropped off by the portables • PK – 1st grade students will sit in a designated location in the lobby • 2nd – 6th grade and Upper School students will meet in the 3rd floor auditorium

Morning Carpool Reminders • Exit on the right side of the vehicle only • Students should have backpacks available for easy exit • Student exit car as quickly as possible (give hugs and kisses at home) • Parents, do not exit your vehicle • Pull up as far as possible to the car in front of you • Leave the crosswalk open for students to cross safely • In order to keep your child safe, your cooperation is essential!
Afternoon Carpool • 7th – 12th grade students may be picked up in front of the gym, portable classrooms, or at the front entrance • Per the Fire Marshall – DO NOT park your car under the awning or in a handicap parking spot and leave your car unattended – it is a $250 - $500 fine • The school is not responsible for students who remain on campus after school hours unless they are involved in a school activity

Chapel • Morning Chapel is held every Wednesday from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. • Opening Convocation is Wed, August 24, 8:00—8:45 a.m. in the 3rd floor auditorium • Parents are welcome to attend
Small Groups • 7th-12th grade students meet in small groups on Monday mornings from 8:00 – 8:45 a.m. • Faculty members serve as mentors • Relationship building; faith development
Student Life • Student Council • National Honor Society – 10th-12th grade students • Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Practical Ministries • Homecoming, class functions, High School and 8th grade retreats, college tours, prom, high school boat party… • Clubs: Certamen, Chess Club, Marine Wildlife Club, Photography Club, Young Writers
