UPCOMING EVENTS • NOVEMBER/DECEMBER Department of Human Resources – Christmas Wish List Program Many children do not get to spend the Holiday’s with their family but instead are placed in foster care during the Holiday’s. We will adopt 2 or 3 children and purchase the gifts they have on their wish list.
DHR Christmas Wish List • We will be given a Christmas Wish List for the number of children we choose to adopt. • Names will be given but these will not be their true name. DHR will protect their identity because it could be students who sit next to you in class. • We will need to come up with a way to raise money to purchase these gifts!
Suggestions? • We could just post the items on the list and see if students want to go in together and purchase a gift. • We could have a fundraiser to raise the money and have a FBLA shopping trip to Wal Mart after school. • WE WILL wrap the presents and label them. DHR will come by the school to pick up the presents.
