A Teacher’s Template for Course/Unit/Lesson Construction CALICO June 10, 2004 Presented by: Robert Godwin-Jones Kathryn Murphy-Judy
Abstract We will demonstrate a web template for curricular, unit and lesson planning. The template takes teachers, especially beginners, through the process of creating a course mission statement all the way to the details of individual activities within a given lesson. The template links to sites of current best theory and practices in language learning, and includes references to the ACTFL standards and k-12 Performance Guidelines. It also addresses learners' styles and intelligences and assessment.
