Multiple alignments can be noted on the day of the earthquake. Remarkably, three out of six high-strongest (M9+) earthquakes recorded to the day occurred during the Full Moon. Four of strongest recorded earthquakes occurred in the last decade, and two in the last year due to the approaching Elenin.
