Does vitamin water kill plants or make them grow?. 12-13-09 Biology Science fair. Hypothesis . My hypothesis is that I think that the plant is going to grow because the vitamin water has sugar in it and I think the plant like the idea that it contains sugar in it. Materials. 1 Plant

  1. Does vitamin water kill plants or make them grow? 12-13-09 Biology Science fair

  2. Hypothesis • My hypothesis is that I think that the plant is going to grow because the vitamin water has sugar in it and I think the plant like the idea that it contains sugar in it.

  3. Materials • 1 Plant • 1 bottle of vitamin water • Creole injector (optional) • Cup for water (only if you don’t have the Creole injector)

  4. Instructions • Buy a plant • 1 bottle of vitamin water • For 2 or 3 weeks water it with water • Then after 2 or 3 weeks start pouring some vitamin water in the plant • Keep adding water

  5. Data • 1. Plant after two weeks of feeding it water (one to the left) • 2. Plant after 2 to 3 weeks of feeding it vitamin water (one to the right)

  6. Analysis of data • After a few weeks I started feeding the plant with vitamin water, well its not growing it looks exactly the same it did when I bought it but now the leaves are turning a brownish color.

  7. Conclusion • Was your hypothesis correct? • No, sadly it was not.
