Recommendations: Categories & fw • Consideration of transboundary needs for pas, and consistent category definitions… • Management objectives matrix should have more items dealing with Freshwater systems i.e. protecting nature from different cultural perspectives include societal benefits flowing from ecosystem services provided..

  6. Recommendations: Categories & fw • Label designations – should not give label unless ecosystem is properly protected.. • WCPA to establish Task force on freshwater (inland waters) pa’s
