  2. What’s up? • Hours • Turn in hours at any meeting • Hour sign up condition • If you have signed up for a project and do NOT show up, an hour is deducted. You MUST find a sign in sheet at a project that is returned to room 164!!

Projects • Cedar Lane PEP Meeting-November 14 We need volunteers from 5:45p-8:15p to watch kids while their parents attend the PEP meeting. • Cedar Lane Bingo -November 15 We need volunteers to help pass out the bingo cards, sell pizza and snacks and help out in the gym.  • Handling Red Cross Blood Drive Sign Ups- We are SOON going to be having one of our blood drives for the 2013-2014 school year!! To make these successful we need to first make sure we have people donating blood. We need you guys to sit at a table during your lunch shifts and mornings before school from November 18th to December 2nd to get people to sign up to donate blood!! Make sure you get the official sign up sheet for blood donators right before your shift. YOU GUYS CAN SIGN UP TO DONATE BLOOD ON THAT SHEET TOO!!

Projects • Salvation Army Bell-Ringing- You guys hang out in front of the Ashburn Safeway and get people entering and exiting the store to donate money into the Salvation Army box.  If you ever show up and the Salvation Army Sign, money collecting box, and other materials aren't there (this will most of the time happen for those working the first shift of each day) go inside Safeway talk to the customer service desk people. They will have it. Easy two hours per shift! SIGN UP WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND HAVE FUN!!!!!!! • Toy Drive-Final date to turn in toys are November 20th! We are collecting toys to assist the 4:12 club (the Bible club) in their International Project: Operation Christmas Child. For this project they are sending shoeboxes filled with toys to children in need around the world. You will receive 1 hour for each medium sized toy that you bring in. You will only receive your hours of service if you have Mr. Newman sign off on the materials that you bring in on your Hours recording sheet. There is a four hour limit. MAKE SURE THE TOYS ARE NEW!!
